Providing Essential Support to Those in Need in Detroit
Every day, the services we provide touch the lives of more than 2,200 men, women and children in the Detroit community. And right now, this is especially important. People who are homeless or facing poverty are particularly at risk due to the Coronavirus pandemic—and with the “shelter in place” order in effect, many are left with no shelter to go to or no one to care.
It is your critical support right now that is enabling so much to be done for your neighbors that are in desperate need. We are committed to responsibly and safely continuing to serve our neighbors in need during this crisis and have adapted and expanded our programs and services to continue to meet the growing need.
None of this can be done without the support of people like you. Please give generously today.

Making the Most of Every Dollar DRMM Receives
DRMM is committed to ensuring that each dollar that is donated to or fundraised for the Mission is used efficiently and effectively to provide direct services to those in need.
According to the Better Business Bureau’s Standard for Charity Accountability, charities should spend at least 65% of their total expenses on direct program services; spending not more than 35% of related contributions [donations, legacies, and other gifts received] on fundraising efforts.
DRMM is proud to share our financial statements each year with the public, which illustrate our commitment to those we serve using your donated dollars and contributions to the fullest extent. In 2013-14, more than 80% of DRMM’s expenses were for direct program services, which provided shelter, housing and treatment to more than 6,500 individuals in need.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in DRMM.
