Did you know Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries has a family shelter on the Eastside?✨ DRMM Gratiot located at 15063 Gratiot– formerly the St. James Nursing Home – was gifted to us and renovated to serve families experiencing homelessness.🏠 Nearly 100 women and children call this shelter home while waiting for permanent, affordable housing. Here, they receive:🍽️ 3 hot meals a day🛏️ Safe, comfortable rooms📚 Support services and programs to help families transition into stability🎨 A children’s playroom & 💻 a computer labWe welcome volunteers to join us by serving meals, donating baby items, or hosting activities for children.
