2026 Holiday Adopt-a-Family Sponsors Needed
Help Make the Holidays Brighter for Families in Need
The holiday season is a time for generosity, hope and making sure our neighbors know they are not forgotten. This year, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) is seeking additional sponsors for our 2026 Holiday Adopt-a-Family program.
The application period for families seeking to be adopted closed on August 31. Due to an overwhelming response, we received more families in need of holiday assistance than we currently have sponsors to support.
We need your help to make sure more children and families experience the joy of the holiday season.
Become a Holiday Sponsor
Individuals, families, churches, businesses, organizations, and community groups are encouraged to participate by adopting:
Sponsors help provide holiday gifts and create a meaningful experience for families facing financial hardship, housing instability, or other challenges during the holiday season.
Your generosity does more than provide gifts. It brings joy, dignity and hope—and reminds our neighbors that they are seen, valued and not alone.
