Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries Selected to Manage the City of Lansing’s New Pod Community
Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) is proud to announce a new partnership with the City of Lansing to manage the city’s innovative pod community, an initiative designed to provide safe, temporary housing and supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness.
This partnership represents an important expansion of DRMM’s mission to restore hope and rebuild lives through compassionate care, housing, and comprehensive support services. With more than a century of experience serving vulnerable individuals and families, DRMM brings a proven model of case management, housing stabilization, employment assistance, behavioral health support, and connections to long-term resources.
The Lansing pod community will offer more than just shelter—it will provide residents with a pathway toward permanent housing and self-sufficiency. Through individualized case management and access to critical support services, residents will have the opportunity to address barriers to housing while working toward long-term stability.
