Help DRMM Students Start the School Year Ready: Back-to-School Supply Drive Underway

Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) is inviting the community to help local children start the new school year with confidence by participating in our Back-to-School Supply Drive, taking place July 16 through August 1, 2026.

Donations will provide much-needed school supplies for children living in DRMM’s shelters, as well as students and families who will attend our Back-to-School Community Distribution on August 4.

Community members can support the drive in one of two convenient ways:

  • Purchase school supplies through our Amazon Wish List
  • Drop off new school supplies at the DRMM Administration Office, 150 Stimson Street, Detroit, MI, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Back to School Supply Drive

Suggested donation items include backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, glue sticks, scissors, calculators, and other classroom essentials.

Every donation helps equip a child for academic success while easing the financial burden on families preparing for the new school year. Together, we can ensure that every student has the supplies they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
