The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries has been selected for the third consecutive year in a row to receive a grant from the Dream Giveaway Promotions.

A substantial grant will be provided for the 2014-15 fiscal year, and will be used to help fund DRMM’s treatment programs. Specifically, DRMM will use the funding for its Christian Guidance Center program – a men’s treatment and detox center in Detroit.

Grants, such as those from the Dream Giveaway Promotions, enable DRMM to provide quality services to Detroit’s homeless and addicted every day.

In 2014, DRMM was able to help 1,051 men struggling with substance abuse addiction. Of these men, 65 percent successfully completed the program and 95 percent of those who successfully completed the program maintained sobriety following discharge of the program because of case management services.

Because of the grant DRMM will receive from the Dream Giveaway Promotions, DRMM anticipates another successful year helping those struggling with addiction successfully rebuild their lives!
