With Grateful Hearts as We Enter a New Year

| |

As this year gently comes to a close, we pause with hearts full of gratitude.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, our devoted staff, our volunteers, and every man, woman, child, senior, veteran, and family served through Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, we want to say:

Thank you!!!

Thank you for believing in this mission.

Thank you for trusting us with your prayers and support.

You stood with us in moments the world never sees. You prayed when words were not enough. You gave love when it would have been easier to look away. You stood with us not only in moments of celebration, but in moments when compassion was needed most.

This year, because of you, hope quietly walked into places where despair once lived. Because of your hunger met compassion, addiction met grace, fear met safety, and despair met dignity.

Scripture reminds us that faith, when lived out through love, becomes action. You lived that truth. You became an answer to prayer for people who never knew your name—but will forever remember your kindness.

This year, we saw that harvest—not in applause, but in transformed lives.

You deeply humble us. We do not take your trust lightly. Every act of generosity, every prayer whispered, every moment of support carries sacred weight. It reflects a heart willing to serve, to love, and to lift others.

As we step into a new year, we do so with quiet confidence—not in ourselves, but in God’s faithfulness and in a community that chooses compassion again and again.

May the year ahead bring you peace that surpasses understanding.

May your kindness return to you multiplied.

May you see the fruit of your generosity in ways both seen and unseen.

From all of us at Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries—and from every life touched because of you—please know how deeply you are valued.

Here’s 2025 at DRMM, by the numbers:

With sincere gratitude and blessings for the New Year.
