WDIV/Channel 4 Shines a Light on DRMM Ahead of August 19 Hygiene Basics Drive
Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) is grateful to WDIV/Channel 4 and reporter Demond Fernandez for highlighting the mission of DRMM and the people we serve in a recent news story.
The feature comes as DRMM and WDIV prepare for the Hygiene Basics Drive on August 19, an important community effort to collect essential items for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and hardship.
The story gives viewers an inside look at the impact of DRMM’s programs through the experiences of a client from Genesis House II, DRMM volunteer Sophia from Arms Open With Love, and Dr. Chad Audi and members of the DRMM team.
Their stories help demonstrate that behind every number is a person—with a story, challenges, hopes and a desire for a better future.
