🗳️ KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. YOUR VOICE MATTERS. YOU CAN VOTE!

Your circumstances do not automatically take away your right to vote. Everyone deserves to know their rights and have the opportunity to participate in our democracy.💙 “I’m experiencing homelessness.” — You can vote!💙 “I’m a returning citizen.” — You may be eligible to vote!💙 “I have a felony conviction.” — You may be eligible to vote!In Michigan, people experiencing homelessness can register to vote, and individuals with felony convictions can vote if they are not currently incarcerated. Once released from jail or prison, voting rights are restored, even if a person is on probation or parole. At Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, we believe in restoring lives, rebuilding hope and empowering individuals to move forward. Your voice matters, and your story does not define your future.📢 Know your rights. Make a plan.
