“I used to carve wood as an escape, but I lost it for a while. When you get into drugs, you lose everything. But I am back to carving now!” Walter has a special gift. He can look at a simple block of wood and see something beautiful within. With patience and loving care, he carves and carves until the beauty within is revealed.
